Brent Grohman

Brent Grohman is a Colorado associate broker working commercial and investment real estate across the Front Range, from Boulder and the northern counties down through Denver and Golden. He works out of Boulder.

His focus is the deal most brokers pass on: distressed assets, value-add multifamily, and property whose cap rate today hides what it becomes once it is stabilized. He works both sides but spends most of his time on the buy side, sourcing and underwriting opportunities for investors.

Before real estate he worked in banking, including as a vice president at United Western Bank in Denver, which is where the underwriting habit comes from. He has also done the work as a principal: in 2020 he bought a multifamily-zoned property in Boulder through his own company and carried it through the city's Site Review and Use Review process, three years from application to Planning Board and City Council, so he prices entitlement risk from experience. He studied at Baylor University.

Outside of work he lives in Boulder and is a recently certified scuba diver, and he will talk about Indonesian reefs for as long as you let him.
